Mulberry Beach
The Mûrier beach is surely the town’s best-known beach, after the main one. With the same services, it is more natural and tranquil. It offers a family-friendly environment, ideal for children and families wishing to enjoy a day out in nature just a stone’s throw from the Marais Breton Vendéen. Holidaymakers can also take part in a variety of water sports, including windsurfing, catamaran sailing, kite surfing and even paragliding. This spot is ideal for strolling along the embankment of Notre-Dame-de-Monts.
Central beach
A lively beach
for young and old
The central beach is the town’s main and most touristic beach. Year-round activities such as children’s playgrounds, fireworks displays in summer and photo exhibitions make it a lively place to be. You’ll find accessible and secure services such as toilets, changing rooms and security posts.
Regatta Beach
Plage des Régates is a smaller, more intimate beach to the north of Plage Centrale. Although it doesn’t have as much sand as its big sister, it has the distinction of being wilder, with a richer ecosystem. Close to the dune path, the grey dune stretches along the beach, offering family activities andservices adapted for disabled people.
Other beaches
of Notre Dame de Monts
Further away from the center of Notre-Dame-de-Monts and your seaside campsite, the Vendée coastline stretches from north to south. Natural, less-frequented beaches give you the chance to soak up the sun in complete peace and quiet. Via footpaths in the heart of the national forest and wild dunes, you can reach the beaches of Pont d’Yeu (on the border with St-Jean-de-Monts), La Braie and Bois Soleil to the north. The last beach in Notre Dame de Monts is Parée Grollier. It is a naturist zone near La Barre-de-Monts – Fromentine.
